Information
Design and construction of the Spanish Pavilion for designer furniture at the ICCF fair in New York City.
We proposed defining the space with a visually recognisable element that would define the surface occupied by the Spanish Pavilion in relation to the rest.
A cylindrical, graphic lamp was designed, suspended from a Trust structure that was also used to hang the lighting rails. Two types of lamps were used, one model with the corporate graphics of ICEX and a second model with products from the exhibiting companies.
The space was designed with an “L” shape, ground and a wall panel to be shared with the neighbouring space, these walls were personalised by each exhibiting company.
The result was a clear, defined image with a fictitious ceiling that defined and stood out from the rest of the pavilions.
Sidi, Association of Spanish manufacturers of designer furniture for the Office, Contract and Home. With a clear intention to internationalise the associated companies by participating in international furniture fairs.
